Banana, Chia & Kiwi Smoothie

Kiwi contains loads of fiber, vitamin C & E, antioxidants and minerals like zinc, iron, calcium, magnesium, copper and potassium.  Kewis are great for keeping skin hair and nails healthy and strong.  They also contain the enzyme actinidin which aids in gut health and digestion.  Chia seeds are great for digestion and high in protein and fiber, making you feel full.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium banana, chopped
  • 2 medium kiwi, chopped and pealed
  • 1 ounce baby spinach leaves
  • 1 cup almond milk or coconut milk
  • 1 Tbsp raw honey or agave
  • 2 tea chia seeds

Directions

Blend all ingredients until smooth in a high speed blender 60 seconds

Serve immediately in a bowl or glass topped with crushed ice, extra chia seeds and slices of kiwi (optional)

Notes

Frozen banana's will make this drink colder and add a bit more thickness
